On 23 June 2026, Neth-ER, in partnership with UNL, VH and the MBO Raad, is organising an event on the future of European Universities alliances and Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) in Brussels. The registration form and further details of the programme will follow soon.

The Future of European Alliances & CoVEs

This event will explore how European alliances and skills initiatives can be structurally embedded in future EU programmes, and what is needed to ensure their long-term impact. Following the publication of the Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe successor proposals in July 2025, negotiations are now underway. This is a key moment to highlight the added value of European Universities alliances and CoVEs for Europe’s competitiveness and skills agenda.
