Knowledge security in research

Carrying out state-of-the art research is not possible without international cooperation. This provides both opportunities and risks for knowledge institutions, due to their inherently open character. Knowledge security in research revolves around the balancing act between these opportunities and risks.
 

This event aims to explore how knowledge institutions, policymakers and other stakeholders address the security aspects of international research collaboration by exchanging information and best practices.
 

Topics that will be addressed include:

•             The importance of knowledge security in research for knowledge institutions
•             Common threats and possible intervention modes
•             Policy responses at EU and national level

Date & time: Tuesday the 28th of March from 15:00 to 17:30, with networking drinks afterwards. Welcome from 14:30 onwards.
Location: Neth-ER, Rue d’Arlon 22, 1050 Brussels
Format: On-site attendance only. Chatham House rules apply. A valid personal identification document is needed to gain entry to the event.
Language: English
Registration: Registration takes place via this link and is possible until the 6th of March. In case the interest of attending will surpass available seats, we will select the participants wishing to attend, to ensure diversity of representation. Your registration is not definitive until you receive a registration confirmation after the registration deadline.

A recap of the event will appear on the Neth-ER website, taking into account the Chatham House rules that apply.
